As part of the Federal Governments program to address the housing shortage in the country particularly with regards to the issue of low cost housing, the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) announced yesterday that it had concluded arrangements to develop 10,000 new low cost homes in Kano State.
This was announced by the FHA Business Development Executive Director (Mr AbdulMumin Jibrin), whilst touring the 500 hectare land located in Dawanau village in Kano State that had been earmarked for the project by the FHA and the Kano State Government.
The Federal Housing Authority is a wholly owned agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria, responsible for identifying and submitting proposals for National Housing Programmes in the country and also execution of such housing programs as may be approved by Government
